Share Your Expertise at the BAFT Global Annual Meeting! We are excited to invite industry leaders, influencers, innovators, and thought leaders to apply to speak at the BAFT Global Annual Meeting from May 4 – 7, 2025 in Washington DC. We seek dynamic speakers who can engage, inspire, and educate senior transaction banking, trade and payments executives, bankers and decision-makers from across the globe.

Speaker Guidelines

We welcome submissions from experienced speakers and new voices alike. Please be reminded of our speaker guidelines.

  • We encourage a diverse group of speakers – expertise, institution/company, regional representation, gender, etc. for our sessions.
  • Speakers should showcase their expertise and thought leadership in the topic and must not use the platform to sell or market their products/services.
  • Speaker submissions are limited to two (2) per company/institution, regardless of sub-category.
  • No speaker substitution is allowed after we confirm a speaker for a session.
  • The speaker must be able to attend the conference in person. Please do not apply if you cannot adhere to this requirement.
  • The speaker is responsible for covering their travel expenses and discounted conference fees for the event.
  • A submission doesn’t guarantee a speaking opportunity in the program. Our program planning committee will evaluate all speakers for their fit for the session and other criteria. If there are multiple qualified speakers for a session, BAFT members and sponsors will be given priority consideration for session slots to acknowledge the participation and support of BAFT members and sponsors in the event.
  • Speakers must sign a speaker release to participate in a BAFT conference. The release allows BAFT to use speaker photos, bio, slides, and session recordings to promote the event and share with attendees as appropriate.

What to expect at this year’s Global Annual Meeting

¹Full conference registration grants access to all four days of conference sessions and activities. These include all plenary sessions, the Women in Transaction Banking pre-conference forum, Monday and Tuesday afternoon workshops (including the Financial Crime Compliance workshop), four days of bilateral meetings, access to the networking lounge, and all planned conference meals and networking events. 

²The Member Team rate applies to BAFT member institutions that send six (6) or more attendees at the full-priced registration rate. Complimentary and discounted rates do not count toward the group minimum. To register your team, please contact [email protected].
